Evently operates an online ticketing platform for events in Malta and the EU. We act as the data controller for the personal data we collect when you browse the site, buy tickets, or manage an organiser account. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@evently.mt.
When you buy a ticket we collect your first and last name, email address and phone number, together with the details of your order (event, ticket types, amounts, promo codes and referral codes used). Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored on our systems. If you create an account we also store your login email and account role. When you visit the site we collect basic technical and traffic data such as your device type, referring website and campaign parameters.
We use your data to process orders and payments, issue and validate tickets, send you your ticket confirmation and any essential updates about your event, provide customer support, prevent fraud and misuse at the door, comply with tax and accounting obligations, and produce aggregate sales and attendance analytics for event organisers.
We process your data to perform our contract with you (ticket purchase and delivery), to meet our legal obligations (invoicing and record keeping), and on the basis of our legitimate interests in securing the platform and improving our service.
The organiser of the event you buy a ticket for receives the information needed to run the event, including your name, email address, ticket type and check-in status. We also share data with service providers who help us operate the platform: Stripe for payments, our email provider for transactional messages, and our hosting provider. We never sell your personal data.
Order and ticket records are kept for as long as needed to support the event and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Account data is kept until you delete your account, after which it is removed except where we must retain transaction records.
You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent where consent applies. You can delete your account from your account settings, or contact us at support@evently.mt. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your ticket selection during checkout, and attribute promoter referral links for up to seven days. We do not use advertising cookies.
Access to order and attendee data is restricted to the relevant organiser and our platform administrators. Tickets are secured with unique tokens and validated server-side at the door.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date below reflects the most recent revision.
